Calm by default — density removed after review. Member management for a sub-10-person team is a short list, not a dashboard. Cut from the first draft: the 6-cell stat strip (the group-header counts — Requested ·1, Invited ·3, Active ·6 — already carry every number worth showing), the role-mix bar (not a useful viz), and the separate "invites going stale" card (folded into the Invited row as a quiet invited 12d ago · not opened marker; Resend is already on the row).
- The rail/badge key is an ⓘ hover explainer, never an always-on legend. One quiet glyph at the roster's top-right; hover/focus reveals the compact key. Same fix applies to the consent roster's "what each column means" block — promote it to the same ⓘ pattern. Worth a DESIGN.md rule: reference legends are hover-on-demand, not standing furniture.
- Search / filter chips / sort are progressive — they appear only when the roster is large (≈10+). A 7-person team sees none of that chrome; it would be pure noise.
- Kept: the email-first composer (one Copper CTA), the Requested→Invited→Active funnel, status rails + role badges, inline self-heal (bounced → Retry on the row), and the J/K review affordance on the Requested group.
- Touch: row actions hover-reveal on pointer-fine but are always visible on
pointer:coarse(the real component's hover-only actions are a live mobile bug to fix). - Reuses the shipped
AccessControlList+InviteComposer variant="card"; this is mostly subtraction, not new components.
